Experience the 1940s USO Era
Step into the glamour of the 1940s with live music by Letters From Home, a thrilling original interactive murder mystery featuring talented actors from the Museum staff and the Gastonia Little Theatre, and authentic ‘40s food and cocktails. Enjoy unique photo opportunities with WWII-era vehicles, participate in a War Bonds raffle, and bid on exclusive items in the silent auction.

Solve the Mystery
This year’s mystery revolves around the sudden death of socialite Ruthie Gillis during a USO party at the infamous Hoff’s bar, owned by the mysterious Evelyn Sable. With a cast of colorful suspects, including WWI Major General Theodore Humphries and war profiteer Simon Atterberry, you’ll need to pay attention to every detail to crack the case. Ticket holders will receive a list of characters and clues to help them solve the mystery.
Support Museum Restoration
All proceeds will contribute to Phase One of the Museum’s restoration project for the historic 1852 Hoffman Hotel façade and the adjacent Hoffman store on Dallas’s historic Court Square.
