Holidays at the Garden at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

Updated: Dec 7, 2021

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden one of the must see attractions in Belmont, North Carolina celebrates the holidays with Holiday at the Garden. Over half a million lights illuminate the gardens beginning in late November through the end of December. Artfully arranged displays use plants to set holiday stages, a 16-foot tree from more than 300 blooming orchids, about 100 outdoor trees of different varieties decked in lights and – on the Four Seasons Lawn – a massive Fraser fir draped with lights and circled by an operating, scaled-down railroad train.

Holiday Lights at the Garden Opening Weekend November 26, 2021

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden's cherished annual holiday event will open on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, will run through January 2nd and is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The lights will shine from 5 to 9 pm. The Garden is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Sing along to your wintertime favorites at our popular topiary display, take in the rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and stroll among the twinkling cherry trees. Grab a bite from the food trucks, roast a marshmallow beside a roaring fire, sip a warm or cold beverage and soak up the season’s cheer.

DSBG Member Preview
