Let your competitive side show by signing up for these friendly competitions listed below. This will be a fun day for the whole family. If you don't want to compete, come out anyway for live music, food trucks, and more.

Goat Island Games Fishing Tournament
FREE | Starts 7 am | Check-In 6:45 am
Register ahead of time and save time at check-in. The fishing tournament starts at 7am with check-in beginning at 6:45. Awards will be given for the biggest fish, smallest fish, and most fish caught for both youth and adult participants. They will not have fishing poles, bait, etc for use or purchase so please bring all equipment needed.
Goat Island Games 5K
Starts 8:30 am | Check-In Starts at 7:30 am
Experience Historic Cramerton from a unique perspective at our 7th annual Goat Island Games 5K. Once again starting and finishing on beautiful Goat Island 40-acre park in the middle of the South Fork Catawba River. Runners will speed through beautiful Downtown Cramerton and pass our powerful Veteran’s Memorial, travel up picturesque 8th Avenue, parallel Cramerton’s iconic train trestle, and run through Stuart Cramer High School’s state of the art campus. The course will peak at Cramerton’s unique, three-story public art sculpture and gateway round-a-bout before finishing on a fast downhill through the tree-lined streets of the Lakewood Neighborhood and crossing under the finishers arch back on Goat Island Park!
Goat Island Games 2024 - MTB Adventure Race
Check-in starts at 9 am | Race is from 10:30-12:00
Tarheel Trailblazers are back with their awesome adventure race this year! Compete as an individual or a child/adult team to collect as many checkpoints you can before time runs out.
Goat Island Games Ping Pong Tournament
FREE | 11 am
This is your chance to prove to your middle school gym teacher you CAN play ping pong! The Goat Island Ping Pong tournament is perfectly suited for those with little hand-eye coordination all the way to self-proclaimed paddle masters. Come on out to watch this intense afternoon battle. Come test your skills and see if you may just get lucky enough to take home a custom Goat Island Games award.
Goat Island Games Corn Hole Tournament

Grab a partner and join us for the Goat Island Games cornhole tourney. This tournament takes place at the permanent boards on Goat Island.
Goat Island Games Disc Golf Tournament
FREE | Tee times available 10 am - Noon
What an awesome opportunity to play this beautiful course in the woods on Goat Island and enjoy some friendly competition with family, friends and other people around town. Join the GTown Disc Golf Club for an exciting round of disc golf on Goat Island.
