Bike Rentals at Confluence
Confluence in Cramerton is a place where art, music, and recreation come together alongside the river to create a place of convergence for the community. They have recently introduced bike rentals designed to facilitate more activity in people’s lives. Confluence’s location in downtown Cramerton is the perfect spot to rent a bike and explore the natural beauty of nearby greenways, streets, and even the beautiful bridge that will take you to Goat Island for even more outdoor adventures.
The Fuzzy Cow
The Fuzzy Cow in the invigorating downtown Cherryville area is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. This frozen yogurt shop is so much more than the ordinary, with flavor bursting at the seams. Choose from 15 flavors of frozen yogurt, pile on 53 toppings, drink a milkshake, enjoy an all the rage bubble tea, or grab a lotus energy drink to get you over that afternoon slump; this uniquely designed shop is a must-see. Hand-built tables fill the establishment, complete with Connect Four, Tic Tac Toe, and Checkers games to play as you enjoy your sweet treat.
The Belmont Drive-In
Theatre is finally open after being closed for nearly ten years. This nostalgic family fun venue is alive again with laughter and warm hearts. Adults who visited here as children are now able to bring their children for the experience. For $25 per car, you can watch two movies while filling up on a variety of tasty treats. If you have never experienced an outdoor drive-in theater, you don’t know what you are missing; it will take you back in time to the ole days.
Floyd & Blackies
Floyd & Blackies is now bigger, better, and has a brand-new location in downtown Cramerton. While continuing to offer their delicious coffee and ice cream, they now exhibit a bakery and an eatery with tasty breakfast and lunch menus with so much to choose from. This establishment opened its doors in December 2012 next to Goat Island in downtown Cramerton and eventually expanded by opening another location in McAdenville. After much consideration, they have decided to make the original bigger and better by moving to a different location in Cramerton. It makes sense as this is where it all started 11 years ago and where this establishment will stay. Renovations to the Cramerton Masonic Lodge boost the new and improved Floyd & Blackies. Come and visit for the first time, or re-visit this Cramerton favorite, indulge in a variety of goodies, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere they have always been known for.
Bumblebee Creamery
A taste of Italy that is sure to be an inviting treat, Bumblebee Creamery in downtown Belmont will have you coming back for more. Gelato is their thing which in Italian means ice cream, but it’s a little different than what we Americans know as ice cream, a much richer flavor than the ice cream that we are used to. Bumblebee Creamery will offer unique flavors like honey lavender and lemon raspberry. Italians are known for their delectable cuisine, so we are in for a special treat with this new establishment. Make sure you try out their homemade waffle cones and fresh artisan bread that will melt in your mouth and enjoy a taste of Italy right here in Gaston County.
