Meet us at the Honey Hunter's Caromont Health Park ball park on May, 2023 for a fun night of baseball as the Honey Hunters take on the Charleston Dirty Birds and to celebrate a very special night.
Celebrate the Outdoors May 18th 2023
“Celebrate The Outdoors Night” sponsored by Gaston County Tourism Development and Black Folks Camp Too. This special evening will showcase outdoor adventures, outdoor lifestyle and things to do in Gaston County to celebrate the outdoors, making it easy for the entire community to enjoy leisure activities. Grab your friends and family and come out for an evening of fun. In addition to great baseball there will be a recreation showcase, giveaways and prizes!

Black Folks Camp Too
An outdoor lifestyle executive educational group whose mission is to increase diversity in the outdoor industry by making it easier, more interesting and more fun for black folks to go camping while also removing the fears.
Gaston County Parks and Recreation
The County Parks and Recreation Department plans, develops, and maintains parks, and provides an array of organized activities to help meet the leisure needs of the citizens of the County.
Carolina Thread Trail
A regional network of connected greenways, trails and blueways that reaches 15 counties, 2 states and 2.9 million people. There are over 300 miles of trails and 170 miles of blueway open to the public – linking people to places, and communities to each other.
Catawba Riverkeeper
Educates and advocates to preserve, protect, and restore the waters of the Catawba-Wateree River Basin for all those who rely on and enjoy them as well as providing ways to get on the water for paddling adventures from the Boathouse and Confluence.
Latinos Aventureros
Motivates the Latinx community to discover the outdoors, while also promoting outdoor diversity and inclusion.
