Horses provide healing at Bit of Hope Ranch. This nonprofit pairs children with therapy teams that include a licensed professional, an equine specialist and a rescue horse. Wellness sessions are available for counseling or physical therapy. Other educational programs include school trips, corporate training, riding lessons and summer camps.
Bit of Hope is a CHA, Certified Horseman’s Association, Site Accredited to ensure the safety of horse and human. The Ranch is located on 50 acres of hardwood and pasture land. The facilities include 2 barns, 2 covered riding arenas and a large grass arena. The Nature Quest Discovery Trails includes 3 miles of wooded trails, a low ropes trail, a large pond with gazebo, a 50' inflatable jump pillow and a 20' tall inflatable dry/wet slide! A Tribal Trail (Sensory Trail) offers clients challenges and learning stations while on horseback and foot. Not ready for the outdoors, enjoy our 900 sqft Wellness Clinic!
