Mount Holly Farmers Market
Strives to provide the surrounding community with fresh food, grown locally with sustainable practices. Held each Saturday morning April through October, the market not only features farmers and food, but also offers chefdemonstrations, live music and a gathering place for friends and family.
The Mount Holly Farmers Market is the largest all volunteer market in North Carolina. From the Market Board to those that help setup and take down the market every Saturday, it is all run off volunteer power. The market focuses on supporting local small farms, educating our community on the advantages of eating fresh local food, and teaching our community to grow their own food.
The Mount Holly Farmer’s market is specifically, local and seasonal. Out of season produce is not allowed at the market and a farm vendor must grow at least 75% (some are even 100%) of what they sell.
You will find a community that is engaged in the market and a market that is engaged in the community!
