Christmas Town USA

McAdenville will go all-out to create Christmas Town USA – that attracts about 600,000 visitors. Drive the half-mile route – free of charge – to see 375-plus trees strung with more than 500,000 red, green and white lights. Christmas Town, USA finished 4th in the “Best Public Holiday Lights Display in the USA” contest, sponsored by USA Today.

Annual Race

Run through McAdenville, NC, one of the world's top destinations for Christmas lights. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas on the 3.1 mile route that is our area's most popular organized road race. The lights don't officially begin until December, but our participants receive a sneak peek for one night only! It's a great way to kick off your holiday season.

Holiday at
the Garden 

Celebrate the holidays at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens with a mile of a million lights. Over half a million lights twinkle from November through the end of December.

Ice Trail Skating

The US National Whitewater Center creates a 17,000 sq. ft. ice trail for skating with an on-ice Airstream serving hot and cold beverages. Available November through February.
